*A quote is sent within 2-4 business days after custom work for the cake is discussed with the client.
*Orders are only secured after a full payment is made. Payment is deposited 7 days in advance to Smari Cakes for the orders to be set on our calendar to be made.
*All cakes are made to order.
*All orders are pickups only. Please read the FAQ for delivery questions.
*Smari Cakes is registered under MN Cottage Food Law. Everything is baked in my home and is not subject to any state inspection.
*My kitchen is not an allergen-free environment of dairy, eggs, nuts, and wheat.
*We advise all decor pieces to be removed before consuming the cake.
*Never smash face on two or three-tiered cakes as they have dowels inserted to support the cake tiers.
Pricing
The guideline below is to indicate the base price of different cake sizes. Please note that the prices are for a plain, non-decorated cake and do not include the cost of design.

Single-tier cakes have three layers of cake with two layers of filling. *All Custom work starts at an additional $45.00+ in addition to the base price of the cake size selected. The added price depends on the decor details, the number of custom pieces, floral elements, the number of frosting colors selected per cake, and other elements.
6" round cake (12-14 servings) starts at $ 115
8" round cake (24-26 servings) starts at $ 135
9" round cake (32-34 servings) starts at $ 155

Heart cakes have three layers of cake, with two layers of filling. Approximately 6" tall.
*All Custom work starts at an additional $35.00+ in addition to the base price of the cake size selected. The added price depends on the decor details like the number of piping styles used, custom pieces, floral elements, number of frosting colors selected, and other elements.
6" heart cake (12- 14servings) starts at $155
8" heart cake (24-26 servings) starts at $180

Each tier of the cake has three layers, with two layers of filling. The construction of a two-tier cake is a bit more complex compared to the single tier cakes. It requires several dowels to hold them together to stay intact. It requires sturdier cake boards and taller cake boxes to transport and a whole lot of care while making it.

The added price depends on the intricacy of the two-tier cake construction, decor details, the number of custom pieces, floral elements, the number of frosting colors selected per cake, and other elements.
